JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk supports the implementation of national one-way traffic engineering (one way) for the Lebaran return flow which was imposed at the discretion of the Indonesian National Police today, Tuesday starting at 14.25 WIB from KM 414 Toll Gate (GT) Kalikangkung Batang-Semarang Toll section to KM 70 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll section.
Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono said this policy was taken based on the significant increase in vehicle volume from Semarang to Jakarta, as well as the results of CCTV monitoring and reports from field officers.
"The implementation of this national one-way is carried out to anticipate congestion and facilitate the return flow. We urge road users to ensure that the condition of the vehicle and the driver are in good condition, do not stop on the shoulder of the road except in emergencies, do not suddenly change lanes, and comply with speed limits," said Rivan in his statement in Jakarta, Tuesday.
He also reminded road users in emergency conditions to use the left shoulder or the inner shoulder, and to comply with signs and instructions from officers.
This traffic engineering refers to the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, the National Police, and the Director General of Road Construction of the Ministry of Public Works dated February 5, 2026 regarding traffic arrangements during the Lebaran 2026/1447 Hijriah transportation period.
Previously, traffic engineering had been carried out gradually.
On Monday (23/03) at 16.15 WIB, one-way local was imposed from KM 263 of the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road (GT Brebes Barat) to KM 70 of the Cikampek Utama Toll Road. This policy was followed by a second phase of one-way local at 20.20 WIB from KM 390 of the Batang-Semarang Toll Road to KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.
Furthermore, on Tuesday (24/03) at 10.12 WIB, one-way local was re-applied from KM 424 of the Semarang-Solo Toll Road to KM 414 GT Kalikangkung as part of the preparation for the implementation of the national one-way.
Jasa Marga appeals to people who are still at home to arrange their return travel time and avoid the peak of the return flow on March 24, 28, and 29, 2026 to reduce congestion.
Road users can also take advantage of the Work From Anywhere (WFA) policy on March 25-27, 2026 as well as a 30 percent toll discount that applies on March 26-27, 2026 on nine strategic sections of the Jasa Marga Group.
