The Ministry of Transportation also noted the on-time performance (on time performance/OTP) of public transportation on H-1, including intercity railways 98.20 percent; regional railways 98.90 percent; domestic air 85.79 percent; international air 70.24 percent; Sea 95.70 percent; crossings 63.19 percent and land 72.49 percent.
The Ministry of Transportation continues to ensure that the Angkutan Lebaran is carried out by prioritizing safety, security, and smoothness through cross-sector coordination and intensive monitoring at all transport nodes.
Titis also appealed to the public to start anticipating the return flow which is estimated to reach its peak on March 24, 2026 (H+3).
"The public should plan their return trip early to avoid peak times, and consider alternative travel schedules to reduce congestion and ensure that travel remains safe and comfortable," said Titis.
Titis also reminded the public to ensure that their physical condition is in good condition, carry personal medicines, and ensure vehicle readiness before traveling.
In addition, the public is urged to use official and licensed modes of transportation and to use the latest information from official government channels.
"Compliance with the directions of field officers is also the key to maintaining the smoothness, safety, and comfort of travel during the 2026 Lebaran return flow," added Titis.
