JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto stated that the case of pouring hard water on KontraS activist Andrie Yunus was a serious criminal act that was classified as terrorism and must be investigated to the mastermind behind the incident.

"This is terrorism. This is barbaric. We must pursue it. We must investigate it. We must investigate it!" said Prabowo as quoted by ANTARA.
The President emphasized that law enforcement should not stop at the perpetrators in the field, but should be able to uncover the intellectual actors behind the event.
"(Including) who ordered, who paid," he said.
Prabowo also stated that the state would not tolerate any form of violence against citizens, including against activists who voiced criticism. He ensured that if there was involvement of the authorities in the case of violence, then the legal process must run without "discrimination".
"Yes, it's clear (if it's from the police). It won't! (there is impunity). I guarantee!" said the President.
"I want to uphold the law. I want a civilized Indonesia. There should be no such action," he said.
"I was elected by the people, to defend the people. But we are vigilant, I ask that it be investigated properly. Up to the actors," said Prabowo.
It is known that the National Police together with the TNI Military Police Center (Puspom) has secured four TNI soldiers suspected of being involved in the act of spraying hard water.
TNI Commander of Puspom, Major General Yusri Nuryanto, said the alleged perpetrators consisted of three officers and one ensign.
