US-Israeli Attack on Iran Damages 847 Civilian Homes Only in Khuzestan

JAKARTA - At least 869 civilian buildings in Khuzestan Province, southwest Iran, have been damaged since the US-Israeli massive attack on the Islamic Republic.

This was revealed by a provincial official quoted by the Mehr news agency on Monday, March 16.

The official detailed the damage caused by the US-Israeli attack, which destroyed 847 residential units and 22 commercial units owned and occupied by civilians.

Since the US-Israel attack on Iran began on February 28, many casualties have fallen, both civilian and military.

The Iranian government, quoted by Anadolu, reported that as many as 1,270 people had died in Iran by March 10, 2026.

According to the report, the figure includes 40 residents who were killed by Israeli airstrikes in the Tehran settlement area on Monday, March 9.

"The Iranian military also reported the loss of 104 personnel after their warship was sunk by a US submarine off the coast of Sri Lanka last week," the report said.
