In addition, KAI also operates a face recognition-based boarding gate service that allows passengers to enter the platform area in only 1-2 seconds.
KAI Daop 1 Jakarta also increased the number of service officers at the station during the Lebaran homecoming period.
"To provide a sense of security and comfort, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta has deployed more than 700 security personnel, including security assistance from the TNI and Polri," said Franoto.
During this year's Lebaran transportation period, KAI also operated a number of additional train trips to accommodate the surge in travelers.
From Gambir Station, there are 13 additional long-distance train trips. Meanwhile, from Pasar Senen Station, seven additional trains are operated.

Franoto appealed to the public who had not received tickets to consider other departure dates that were still available.
"For the period from March 23 to April 1, there are still more than 300 thousand tickets available," he said.
If compared to the same period last year, the number of passengers during this year's Lebaran transportation period also increased.
