JAKARTA - Hundreds of new students for the March 2026 period of the Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI) will attend the 2026 Student Orientation (ORMIK) and Motivation Seminar (SEMOT) series held at the BSI Convention Center, Kaliabang, Bekasi, Saturday, March 28, 2025.
This activity is part of UBSI's efforts to prepare students to be able to adapt to the campus environment as well as face challenges in the digital economy era.
As a Creative Digital Campus, UBSI presents various student development programs that not only focus on academics, but also on character formation, motivation, and readiness to face technological industry changes.
Deputy Rector II for Non-Academic UBSI Adi Supriyatna said that ORMIK was designed to provide new students with an initial understanding of the lecture system and various campus activities.
"Through the ORMIK activity, we want to introduce the UBSI campus environment to new students, both in terms of academics and non-academics. That way, students can understand the lecture system, campus rules, and various activities that they can participate in while being part of the UBSI academic community," said Adi in a written statement, Tuesday, March 10.
In addition to campus orientation, students will also attend SEMOT which presents inspiring alumni from various fields.
"SEMOT is designed to motivate new students through inspiration from alumni who have been successful in various fields. We hope that students can increase their learning enthusiasm, recognize their potential, and gain new perspectives for better self-development and progress in accordance with the ORMIK-SEMOT theme this year, namely Grow with Vision," he explained.
Through this activity, UBSI hopes that new students can maximize their study time, graduate on time, and be active in various campus activities to hone the hard skills and soft skills needed in the world of work.
