JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government reminds companies not to delay or ignore the obligation to pay holiday allowances (THR) to employees. Administrative sanctions have been prepared for companies that violate.
DKI Jakarta Assistant for Economy and Finance, Suharini Eliawati, said complaints related to THR were carried out through a single door through the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).
"Complaints related to THR are carried out through one door, namely the website channel of the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration THR at poskothr.kemnaker.go.id. The channel is opened H-7 before the holiday," said Suharini in his statement, Wednesday, March 4.
Based on the data on the implementation of THR 2025, there were 422 companies that were reported because they were suspected of not paying or being late in paying the obligation.
Of that number, 21 companies have been given written reprimands and three companies have been recommended for further administrative sanctions.
"The DKI Provincial Government through the Labor, Transmigration, and Energy Office (STKTE) first gave a written warning to the company that violated it. If it is not followed up, the recommendation for sanctions will be forwarded to the One-Stop Integrated Investment and Service Office (DPMPTSP)," he said.
The administrative sanctions that can be imposed are carried out gradually, ranging from written reprimands, restrictions on business activities, temporary suspension of part or all of the production equipment, to the freezing of business activities.
The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) issued a Circular Letter (SE) from the Minister of Manpower Number M/3/HK.04.00/III/2026 concerning the Implementation of the Provision of Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) for 2026 for Workers / Labor in Companies.
In this SE, the Minister of Manpower, Yassierli emphasized that the provision of YHR for workers/workers is an effort to meet the needs in welcoming religious holidays.
Meanwhile, religious THR is given to workers who have had 1 month of continuous work or more.
"Religious THR must be paid no later than seven days before the Religious Holiday, but companies are encouraged to pay it earlier before the deadline," wrote Yassierli in the SE.
Then, for workers who have 12 months of continuous work or more, they are given one month's wages.
Meanwhile, for those who have worked for one month continuously or more but less than 12 months, they will be given proportionally according to the calculation (working time ÷ 12) × 1 month of wages.
"For workers who work on a daily freelance basis, the one-month wage is calculated based on the average wage received during the last 12 months before the religious holiday.
Meanwhile, for workers whose wages are determined based on the unit of output, the one-month wage is calculated based on the average wage of the last 12 months before the religious holiday.
