JAKARTA - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran vowed not to let the US and Israeli attacks go unanswered and would retaliate against attacks on military and civilian facilities.

"American and Israeli criminals must understand that none of their crimes and murders will be left unanswered. The war against the US and the Israeli regime will continue," the IRGC said in a statement quoted by the IRIB TV station, reported by ANTARA from Sputnik, Wednesday, March 4.

The IRGC accused the US-Israel of attacking schools, hospitals, stadiums, restaurants, and wedding halls to panic the Iranian people. They said the civilian casualties had exceeded 700 people.

According to the IRGC, in the last day, a family was killed by a Tomahawk missile attack that hit a residential building in Oshnavieh. Five people were also reported dead when an American missile hit a private car in Salman.

US missiles also hit a house in the Kasemiyeh district of Urmia, killing an elderly couple, the IRGC said.

On February 28, the US and Israel launched a series of attacks on a number of targets in Iran, including in Tehran, with reports of damage and civilian casualties. Iranian state television confirmed that Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in the attack.

Iran then launched a retaliatory missile attack on Israeli territory and US military facilities in the Middle East.
