Police investigators call Jambi Bank's CEO regarding the case of missing customer balance

JAMBI - Investigators from the Jambi Police's Banking Crime Investigation Unit (DitreskrimsusPolda Jambi) summoned the President Director (Dirut) of Bank Jambi Khairul Suhairi to ask for information regarding the case of the loss of customer balances from accounts.

Director of Special Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimsus) of the Jambi Police, Kombes Taufik Nurmandia, confirmed that the Director of Bank Jambi Khairul Suhairimemenuhi the call and arrived at the Police Headquarters around 13.30 WIB, on Monday.

The President Director of Bank Jambi immediately underwent an examination at Subdit II Banking Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Jambi Police.

The alleged disruption of the service system which resulted in customer balances being reduced or lost in accounts that occurred on Sunday (22/2/2026), is now in the process of investigation.

"The suspected act of peretastetapimasih is still being investigated with the investigation process," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 2.

Regarding the lost customer balance, the bank has made a return, but the total loss and the number of affected customers have not been disclosed.

Polda Jambi continues to investigate this case to uncover the perpetrators and the motives behind the actions against the regional bank service system.

Previously, the Jambi Bank together with a number of its lawyers came to the Jambi Police Headquarters to provide information to the Jambi Police investigators regarding the breach of accounts or missing or customer money.
