After Visiting Jordan, Prabowo Meets MBZ President in Abu Dhabi

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto continued his state visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to meet with President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan or MBZ to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Based on official information from the Presidential Secretariat Press Bureau, which was received by Antara Jakarta, Thursday, February 26, President Prabowo and his entourage arrived at the Presidential Flight Airport, Abu Dhabi, Wednesday afternoon local time using the Garuda Indonesia-1 aircraft.

Under the stairs of the plane, President Prabowo was greeted by the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei, RI Ambassador to the UAE Judha Nugraha, UAE Ambassador to RI Abdulla Salem Obaid Salem AlDaheri, and the Defense Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi Brigadier General Tony Aris Setiawan.

The welcoming procession was also marked by the presence of the honor guard who stood neatly on the side of the runway, adding to the atmosphere of President Prabowo's arrival in Abu Dhabi.

This reception shows the high respect of the UAE government to the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

From the airport, President Prabowo and his entourage went straight to the hotel where they stayed during their stay in Abu Dhabi.

During this working visit, President Prabowo is scheduled to meet with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The President's working visit to Abu Dhabi is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership between Indonesia and the UAE.

The bilateral relations between the two countries that have been established are expected to be strengthened through meetings and cooperation agendas scheduled during the visit.

The visit to Abu Dhabi is considered to mark the continuation of Indonesia's active diplomacy in the region, as well as affirming President Prabowo's commitment to expanding a mutually beneficial global partnership network.
