Menaker Yassierli Requires Ojol Eid Bonus to be Announced at the Same Time as SE THR

JAKARTA - Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli hinted at an announcement or circular (SE) regarding the provision of Eid bonus (BHR) for online/online taxi driver partners (ojol) to be carried out simultaneously with the Eid allowance (THR) for workers.

"We will announce it later. Yes, later at the same time, BHR, THR, and so on," said the Minister of Home Affairs at a press conference in Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, February 25.

Furthermore, Yassierli said that the government is currently in communication with application-based transportation service companies (applicators) operating in Indonesia.

"Alhamdulillah their response (applicants) is good, they are committed (to provide BHR)," he said.

Regarding the progress of the preparation of the SE BHR, the Minister of Home Affairs, who is also a Professor at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), said that his party is now also closely coordinating with the Ministry of State Secretariat (Setneg).

"It remains to be seen in the form of SE or later in the form of its launch, we are still waiting for coordination with the Ministry of Defense, we will announce it together, God willing," said the Minister of Home Affairs Yassierli.

The BHR itself was first introduced through the Ministry of Manpower's Circular (SE) No. M/3/HK.04.00/III/2025 concerning the Grant of Religious Holiday Bonus for 2025 for Drivers and Couriers in Application-Based Transportation Services, which was published in March 2025.

In the SE Menaker last year regarding BHR, the bonus was given proportionally according to performance in the form of cash with a calculation of 20 percent of the average monthly net income for the past 12 months to productive and performing application-based drivers and couriers.

In addition, the disbursement of this BHR also follows the applicable regulations, namely, it is given by the company no later than seven days before Eid al-Fitr.
