MAKASSAR - The South Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Office executed MiraHayati, a convict in a case of criminal offense of circulation of dangerous cosmetics, at his private residence in the Tamalanrea Housing, Makassar, South Sulawesi.

At the first level, the Makassar PN sentenced Mira Hayati to 10 months in prison. The prosecutor then appealed and PT Makassar increased the sentence to 4 years in prison.
Before being thrown into prison, the convicted MiraHayati was first secured and underwent a series of health examinations according to standard operating procedures.
After being declared healthy, the convict was immediately taken to the Makassar Class 1 A Penitentiary (Lapas) to serve his sentence.
"I have given very clear and firm instructions to the ranks of the Sulsel Attorney General's Office and Makassar District Attorney to immediately carry out the execution. There is no special treatment for anyone. The law must be enforced professionally," said the Kajati.
