After the Deadline for Warning, the Government Submits the Execution of the Sultan Hotel in Block 15 GBK to the PN Jakpus

JAKARTA - The government through the legal representative of the Ministry of State Secretariat and the Center for Managing the Bung Karno Arena Complex (PPKGBK), Kharis Sucipto, officially submitted a Letter of Request for Further Action on the Execution of the Sultan Hotel to the Head of the Central Jakarta District Court, Wednesday (18/2/2026). This application was submitted after an aanmaning (reprimand) on February 9 with a deadline of eight days ending, while PT Indobuildco was said to not voluntarily hand over assets until February 17.

Kharis called this step as the final effort of the state to follow up on the ownership of Block 15 GBK with an area of 13 hectares. He asked the court to immediately conduct a constatering, namely an examination and matching of objects in the field so that the assets to be executed are clear and not in the wrong limit, then issue the Order of Execution of Clearance. "Until the last moment of the deadline of February 17, there was no response or attempt to voluntarily hand over assets from PT Indobuildco," he said after handing over a letter at the Central Jakarta District Court.

He added that the new lawsuits filed by Indobuildco, according to him, did not delay the implementation of the civil judgment Number 208/Pdt.G/2025 which is immediate (enforceable on stock).

Even though it is taking the execution route, the government through the PPKGBK stated that it will still open the 15 GBK Block Relocation Service Post for employees, vendors, and tenants so that the transition can run smoothly.

The government has also prepared plans for the layout of Block 15, including revitalization into a wider green open space and integrated with public access such as a new MRT station. PPKGBK President Director Rakhmadi Afif Kusumo appealed to the affected parties to remain calm and coordinate through the service post.
