JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will again hold a free homecoming program on Eid 2026 or 1447 Hijriah. This program is aimed at facilitating Jakarta residents to return home safely and comfortably, while reducing the risk of accidents due to long-distance motorcycle use.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service, Syafrin Liputo, said that registration was opened starting February 22, 2026 and was carried out online through the official website https://mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id.

There are a number of requirements needed to become a free homecoming participant for the DKI Provincial Government. Prospective participants are required to prepare a Family Card (KK), DKI Jakarta ID Card (preferably), and STNK if they bring a motorcycle.
Each applicant can add a maximum of three family members in one KK. The NIK registered on the free homecoming page must match the NIK on the original KTP.
After successfully registering online, participants are required to verify by bringing a photocopy of the document to the nearest verification location according to the schedule of the destination city cluster.
If they do not attend the verification schedule, participants are considered to have withdrawn and the quota is transferred to other applicants.
"Registration is also automatically canceled if it is found that participants are registered in another free homecoming program. Tickets are prohibited from being sold or transferred," said Syafrin.
Registration is divided into three clusters, namely: - Cluster 1 (22-24 February 2026): Solo, Tasikmalaya, Palembang, Madiun, Sragen, Cilacap. Verification is carried out on 25-27 February 2026.
- Cluster 2 (25-27 February 2026): Yogyakarta, Kuningan, Lampung, Tegal, Kebumen, Jombang, Pekalongan. Verification was carried out from 28 February to 2 March 2026.
