Golkar Announces Candidate for the Leadership of Commission III of the DPR Before Lebaran

JAKARTA - Golkar Party Secretary General Muhammad Sarmuji stated that his party would announce the candidate for the leadership of Commission III of the DPR before Eid al-Fitr or Lebaran 2026.

It is known that currently the position of deputy chairman of Commission III of the DPR from the Golkar Faction is vacant after being left by Sari Yuliati who was inaugurated as deputy chairman of the DPR.

Meanwhile, Sari Yuliati rose to become the head of the DPR, replacing Adies Kadir who had been approved as a candidate for the Constitutional Court (MK) by the DPR.

Sarmuji revealed that the name of the candidate for the deputy chairman of Commission III of the DPR to replace Sari has begun to narrow down to several names. He said, one name of the Golkar cadre who was elected would be announced as the head of the legal commission soon.

"It has started to narrow down. It remains to be seen if it is decided, we will distribute the letter," said Sarmuji at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, February 12.

Sarmuji ensured that the name was already known to the public and was inaugurated as the Waka of Commission III of the DPR before Lebaran. In fact, he said, it could be announced next week.

"After Eid, of course there will be. Before Eid, we have also announced it. (Next week) Can, can." he said.
