JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin replaced three heads of the regional prosecutor's office (kajari) who were having problems and undergoing internal examinations. This change targets the Kajari Sampang, Kajari Magetan, and Kajari Padang Lawas.

Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, confirmed the change. According to him, the filling of the new position was carried out in line with the process of clarification of the old officials who were reported to have problems.
"The three of them are still in the process of clarification and are temporarily stationed at the Attorney General's Office," said Anang in Jakarta.
The three kajari who were replaced were Fadilah Helmi (Sampang), Dezi Setiapermana (Magetan), and Sumarlin Halomoan (Padang Lawas).
As a substitute, the Attorney General's Office appointed Mochmad Iqbal, who previously served as the West Tulang Bawang Kajari as the Sampang Kajari, Sabrul Iman from the South Bangka Kajari as the Magetan Kajari, and Hasbi Kurniawan, who was previously a coordinator at the Bengkulu Attorney's Office as the Padang Lawas Kajari.
The change was made after reports from the public regarding alleged violations of ethics and abuse of authority dragged the three of them.

"If it is later indicated that there has been a violation, it will be handed over to the supervision department and action will be taken in accordance with the applicable provisions," said Anang.
However, the Attorney General's Office ensured that the handling process still prioritized the principle of presumption of innocence.
