JAKARTA - Head of Operations for the Cartenz Peace Task Force, Brigadier General Faizal Rahmadani, said that the evacuation of the Smart Air aircraft crew who were shot by the KKB in Korowai, Boven Digoel Regency, South Papua, was scheduled to be carried out on Thursday (12/2).

Before the evacuation, the Cartenz Peace Task Force team will be sent to the scene to investigate and investigate the incident.

"The plan is to carry out the evacuation on Thursday (12/2) after the Cartenz Peace Task Force team arrived at the crime scene," said Brigadier General Faizal, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 11.

Until now, his party has not been able to determine which KKB group fired at the Smart Air plane which was reported to be carrying 13 passengers.

The shooting incident was reported at 11.00 WIT, shortly after the plane piloted by Captain Enggon with Co-pilot Captain Baskoro, arrived at Korowai Airport from Tanah Merah, Boven Digoel Regency.

The names of Smart Air plane passengers are Yance Bemonop, Limu Gurik, Yanduk Kogoya, Turis Magai, Emira Wonda, Kiris (baby), Dua Lima Kogoya, Inantinus Kahipka, Irfan Kahipka, Samuel Jitmau, Pania Mialim, Topius Kogoya and Tialongga Ko.
