JAKARTA - PT Berdikari inaugurated the construction of the Kandang and Hatchery Grand Parent Stock (GPS) Broiler in Ngajum District, Malang Regency, East Java. President Director of PT Berdikari Maryadi said that the project was based on the still wide gap between national chicken meat production and production, namely 1 million tons.

Maryadi said that the GPS facility built on an area of 5.6 hectares has a capacity of 18,000 GPS and is projected to be able to produce around 900 thousand parent stock (PS) and 130 million final stock (FS).
"The PS seeds will then be distributed to various regions outside Java to support sustainable, efficient, and competitive broiler production," he said.
