JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the North Jakarta Metro Police managed to uncover the death of a family in the Warakas area, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta on Friday, February 6, 2026.

From the results of the investigation by the North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, it was revealed that the death of one family was the result of a planned murder by poisoning the victim's family.

"It was revealed that this was a premeditated murder by poisoning a family in the Warakas area, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, with three people dead," said North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Erick Frendriz.

The disclosure was known after a series of investigations including an examination from the Bareskrim Polri forensic laboratory for the findings of evidence through scientific investigation.

"The deceased victims who were identified were SS, aged 50 years old, a mother, a female AF, aged 27 years old, then a man or a child with the initials AD, aged 14 years old," he said.

Meanwhile, a child with the initials MK (24) was critical at the scene. The three victims who died were SA, AF and AD and MK were one family.

"One family living in one house, where there is a mother with 3 children," he said.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of North Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar explained, the series of investigations and investigations carried out and the results of the autopsy at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, it was found that the death of one family was premeditated murder.

"From our examination, the motivation of the perpetrator is revenge against his family because he feels treated differently and often scolded by his mother. The perpetrator, initials S, who was critical and was treated at Koja Hospital," said AKBP Onkoseno.

The Head of the Police stated that the determination of the suspect against S (victim's child) was based on the results of the Puslabfor examination, the doctor, as well as the results of toxicology and the results of the examination of witnesses, the results of the investigators' observations based on other evidence.

"We have named S as a suspect because he deliberately poisoned the three victims," he said.

For his actions, suspect S was charged with Article 459 of the Criminal Code, and or Article 467 of the Criminal Code, and or Article 76C, in conjunction with Article 80 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia, number 35 of 2011, on child protection, Article 458 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 20 years and a threat of 15 years for premeditated murder.
