4.473 Officials from across Indonesia Gather in Sentul Bogor, Traffic Expected to Be Stalled

BOGOR - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto appealed to the public to anticipate potential traffic congestion or congestion in line with the implementation of the 2026 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of the Central and Regional Governments at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor Regency, Monday, February 2 morning.

This national activity will be attended by around 4,473 participants from across Indonesia, consisting of central government, provincial government, and district and city governments. The presence of thousands of participants is expected to increase vehicle volume on a number of roads leading to the Sentul area and its surroundings.

"The Ministry of Home Affairs has coordinated with the Bogor Regency government to ensure traffic arrangements to minimize congestion," he said.

The regulation will be supported by joint personnel from various elements in the field. "There will be additional personnel, both police personnel, TNI, Satpol PP, and the Transportation Service at certain points," said Bima.

Even though various steps have been prepared, he admitted that the activities of residents are still potentially affected. Therefore, the government apologized and invited the public to adjust their travel plans.

"We apologize to residents who may be affected and so that residents can adjust the time and route of travel during the event," he said.

This 2026 Central and Regional Government Rakornas is a strategic forum to strengthen policy synergy between the central and regional governments, while still trying to run in parallel with the convenience of community activities around the location of activities.
