Minister of Culture Fadli Zon inaugurated the use of the pendopo, Sunday (25/1). He emphasized that this colonial building was not just restored, but directed to become an active cultural public space. "Buildings like this must be alive. It can be a center for education, learning, and cultural activities," he said.

The Pate Alos pavilion is recorded as a witness to the history of Besuki when it was an important administrative center. The government encourages further development so that the building can record the history of Karesidenan Besuki, which used to include five districts.
