JAKARTA - Recently, the name of President Prabowo Subianto's nephew, who is also Deputy Minister of Finance, Thomas Djiwandono, has been included in the exchange of candidates for Deputy Governor of the Bank Indonesia (BI).

The Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi confirmed that there were three names of candidates, one of which was Thomas Djiwandono.

This was conveyed by Prasetyo Hadi at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday, January 19. According to Prasetyo, the emergence of the three candidate names includes a resignation letter from one of the Deputy Governors of BI named Juda Agung.

Mensesneg Prasetyo Hadi also explained that the mechanism for filling the position was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law.
