Woman from Bandung Found Dead Due to Electric Shock During Flooding in Cilincing Jakut

JAKARTA - A woman with the initials MYS (40) from Bandung was found dead of electric shock inside her house in Gang Sadang, West Kalibaru 1, Cilincing District, North Jakarta.

Cilincing Police Chief, AKP Bobi Subasri said, based on the testimony of a witness who was the RT Chairman, he informed that there was a victim who was electrocuted and unconscious.

The witness had provided first aid by pumping the victim's chest, but the victim did not respond and checked the victim's pulse was dead.

"The results of the identification did not find any signs of abuse, the victim died allegedly due to electric shock," said AKP Bobi when confirmed, Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

AKP Bobi ensured that the results of the crime scene investigation revealed that the victim was electrocuted during the flood situation.

"I order the Cilincing Police to respond to every incident and community reports to provide the best service, where the task of the police as a protector and servant of the community," he said.

Meanwhile, three witnesses were questioned regarding the incident. The three witnesses were the chairman of RT 011/08 and the victim's two brothers-in-law.
