Supian Suri explained, this year the Depok City Government will start executing the widening of the road using the Regional Budget (APBD) worth Rp. 40 billion. This road will later be functional in one direction for motor vehicles from Sawangan to Parung Bingung.
"The concept later from Parung Bingung to Yapan School is one way. Meanwhile, from the direction of Sawangan to the city center, near Tirta Rasa Restaurant, vehicles will turn left. That way, the flow of vehicles will be relatively smoother," said Supian Suri.
In addition, the Depok City Government will also carry out land acquisition on the left side of the road at Simpang Parung Bingung, which has been known as one of the worst traffic points on Sawangan Highway.
"We allocate around Rp. 60 billion to widen the left side of the road in the area of the turn towards Sawangan, so that vehicle movement will be easier," he said.
