"The use of social media, especially live streaming that is not related to work, is not allowed to be carried out during working hours," said Muhammad Alim Sanjaya when confirmed from Natuna, Antara, Tuesday, December 30.

According to him, the ban specifically emphasizes restrictions on the use of social media that are not related to the implementation of official duties, in order to ensure that employees remain focused on their work and public services.

He explained that every employee who was found to have violated the provisions in the circular would be subject to sanctions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. However, the application of sanctions will be carried out gradually by considering the level of violation committed.

The circular was issued on December 29, 2025 with the aim of increasing the discipline and responsibility of employees in carrying out their duties.
