JAKARTA - Police have questioned Kamila Hamdi regarding the alleged bomb threat to 10 schools in Depok, West Java. Based on the results of the police investigation, Kamila Hamdi admitted that it was not him who sent the email.

"He has been questioned. According to his confession, he is not the one who sent the email," said Kasie Humas Metro Depok Police, AKP Made Budi, Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

Budi added that the person concerned also admitted that the email had been hacked, but was still being investigated.

"While he did not admit it, we still continue to investigate, whether he is lying or because he was really hacked, we are still continuing to delve," he said.

Furthermore, whether he was a victim of rape but the police did not follow up on the report, Made Budi said it was not true.

"It's not true, the perpetrator just made up a story, we are still investigating," he said.

Previously, the police were still investigating the perpetrator of the bomb threat through an email to 10 schools in Depok, West Java.

AKP Made Budi explained that the sender of the email used the name Kamila Hamdi with the email address [email protected].

"The email address used by the perpetrator is currently being investigated by the police," he said.

He added that his party had not been able to explain whether the email was indeed sending the threat intentionally or hacked by others.

"Actually, we don't know if the email was used by someone else or not, whether the owner of the email address was the one who typed it or not, it is still in the process of investigation," said Made Budi.
