KPK Searches 3 Houses of Former Kajari Hulu Sungai Utara, Seizes Tolitoli Regency Car

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that it had searched three houses of the Head of the North Hulu Sungai Regency Prosecutor's Office, South Kalimantan, Albertinus Parlinggoman Napitupulu (APN), who had been deactivated by the Attorney General's Office, and seized one four-wheeled vehicle belonging to the Tolitoli Regency Government, Central Sulawesi.

"Investigators secured a four-wheeled vehicle from the Kajari Hulu Sungai Utara official residence which was recorded as belonging to the Tolitoli Regency Government," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 24.

Budi said KPK investigators also seized several documents and electronic evidence from the official residence, then the Kajari Office of North Hulu Sungai, and Albertinus' house in East Jakarta.

"The documents and electronic evidence that were seized were allegedly related to the alleged case of extortion or budget cuts in the North Hulu Sungai District Court," he said.

Previously, the KPK carried out the 11th hand-in-hand operation (OTT) in 2025, namely in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, South Kalimantan, on December 18, 2025.

On December 19, 2025, the KPK announced the arrest of six people in the OTT, including the Head of the North Hulu Sungai District Court, Albertinus Parlinggoman Napitupulu, and the Head of Intelligence of the North Hulu Sungai District Court, Asis Budianto.

On the same date, the KPK announced the seizure of hundreds of millions of rupiah in a case allegedly related to the extortion.

Then on December 20, 2025, the KPK announced Albertinus Parlinggoman Napitupulu (APN), Asis Budianto (ASB), and Tri Taruna Fariadi (TAR) as the Head of the North Hulu Sungai District Legal and Administrative Affairs as suspects in the alleged extortion case in the law enforcement process in the North Hulu Sungai District in the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

However, on that date, only Albertinus Napitupulu and Asis Budianto were detained by the KPK because Tri Taruna was still on the run.

On December 22, 2025, the Attorney General's Office handed over Tri Taruna to the KPK. The anti-corruption agency then detained the person concerned for the first 20 days.
