JAKARTA - Perumda Air Minum Jaya (PAM Jaya) commemorated its 103rd anniversary (HUT) by holding a townhall meeting and distributing humanitarian aid for victims of natural disasters in Sumatra.
PAM Jaya President Director Arief Nasrudin said the townhall was a strategic internal agenda to unite directions and strengthen the commitment of all employees to face future challenges, especially entering 2026.
"Alhamdulillah, today PAM JAYA entered its 103rd year. We held a townhall meeting to strengthen team synergy to be more solid in facing the challenges of 2026," said Arief in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Tuesday, December 23.
In addition to internal agendas, PAM JAYA also opened a humanitarian fund-raising for residents affected by disasters in Sumatra. The company targets a donation fund of IDR 250 million collected from the participation of the internal family of the PAM Jaya family.
Not only in the form of funds, PAM JAYA also provides operational support in the form of two mobile water treatment plants (WTP) and 10 clean water tanker vehicles that will be deployed to the affected areas.
"This is a form of empathy and concern for the PAM JAYA family for our brothers and sisters who are affected by disasters in Sumatra," said Arief.
Arief emphasized that the distribution of assistance was a follow-up to the instructions of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung. In addition to clean water logistics, PAM Jaya also sent a technical team to help operate and repair water treatment facilities at the disaster site.
"We are sending a technical team to help because the availability of clean water at the location is still very limited and needs immediate handling," said Arief.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the PAM Jaya Supervisory Board Prasetyo Edi Marsudi emphasized that the company's focus going forward remains directed at achieving the target of drinking water services through a comprehensive piping network in Jakarta. Prasetyo, who is familiarly known as Pras, said that Dewas supervision was carried out by strengthening collaboration with the board of directors so that all policies and programs run in line with the company's target.
"The role of Dewas is to ensure that PAM Jaya runs according to its corridor. Now PAM Jaya is a full host. Old partners have come together, and this is an important capital to move forward," said Pras.
He said that the target of 100 percent plumbing services was the vision of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung which must be realized consistently through the collective work of all stakeholders.
Pras emphasized that Dewas and the PAM Jaya board of directors would continue to maintain the solidity of work and the company's main focus on drinking water services for Jakarta residents.
"We collaborate with the board of directors, working with the same intention. His heart must be PAM Jaya. There is no more Palyja, no more Aetra," he said.
