JAKARTA - Taiwan-based human resources company, May-God Human Resourced Co., Ltd. (May-God), signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with PT Binajasa Abadikarya (PT BIJAK), a subsidiary of BPJS Employment Indonesia.

This cooperation is aimed at improving the quality of placement of engineering workers as well as strengthening the protection of the rights of Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan.

May-God representative, Judy, said the partnership focuses on transforming the quality of labor placement, not just increasing the number. According to him, the integration of Indonesia's national resources will provide certainty for employers in Taiwan while creating a more dignified working environment for migrant workers.

"Cooperation with PT BIJAK is not only about the quantity of placement, but also the improvement of quality as a whole. We want to ensure certainty for employers and decent protection for workers," Judy told reporters, Monday, December 22.

President Director of PT BIJAK Ricky Suzano welcomed the signing of the MoU. He emphasized that, as part of the BPJS Employment ecosystem, PT BIJAK places the welfare of workers as the main focus of cooperation.

"This partnership ensures that Indonesian migrant workers not only get decent jobs in Taiwan, but also get social protection and access to adequate health services," said Ricky.

In the memorandum of understanding, both companies agreed to implement the Responsible Business Alliance and International Labour Organization standards. This commitment includes a transparent, ethical, and cost-free recruitment process for migrant workers, as well as helping companies in Taiwan meet global social responsibility audit standards.

In addition, May-God and PT BIJAK agreed to build an integrated overseas engineering labor placement system. This system includes comprehensive selection and training carried out in Indonesia through the coordination of PT BIJAK, so that prospective workers have technical competence according to the needs of the Taiwanese industry before being dispatched.

Cooperation also includes deepening bilateral employment mechanisms through the exchange of information related to labor market trends, regulatory changes, and employer needs. This step is expected to simplify the administrative process and accelerate the integration of Indonesian skilled labor into the Taiwan labor market.

Ricky added that the protection of migrant workers' rights was a top priority in the partnership. In addition to guaranteeing fair employment contracts, May-God will provide assistance services for workers while in Taiwan. The integration of social security through PT BIJAK is also ensured to continue to run sustainably.

May-God is known as a human resource management company in Taiwan that is experienced in cross-country recruitment and management of migrant workers, especially from Southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, PT BIJAK acts as a strategic institution of BPJS Employment in providing labor, training, and supporting services for the dispatch of Indonesian workers abroad.
