Jabodetabek Weather Friday 12 December: Afternoon To Afternoon Rain, Beware Of Lightning And Strong Winds

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Greater Jakarta area on Friday, December 12, will be dominated by cloudy conditions from the early hours of the morning and potentially rain in the afternoon to evening.

On Friday morning at 01.00-07.00 WIB, the weather in most areas of Jabodetabek is expected to be cloudy to thick cloudy.

Entering Friday morning at 07.00-13.00 WIB, the weather varied from sunny to thick cloudy. Ahead of Friday afternoon, light rain has the potential to occur in a number of sub-districts in Bogor Regency.

From Friday afternoon to evening at 13.00-19.00 WIB, conditions are expected to remain sunny to thick cloudy, but light rain has the potential to fall throughout the Jabodetabek area. BMKG also warns of the potential for heavy rain that can flush Bekasi City and Regency.

For air temperatures, the Bogor City and Regency areas are in the range of 18-30 degrees Celsius, while other areas in Jabodetabek are estimated to be at 24-28 degrees Celsius.

The humidity was recorded to be in the range of 68-94%, with the surface wind blowing from south to southwest at a speed of 5-28 km/hour.

The BMKG appealed to the public to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds from noon to evening in a number of areas, especially East Jakarta, South Jakarta, Bekasi City and Regency, as well as Bogor City and Regency.
