President Prabowo Welcomed By Indonesian Diaspora In Moscow, Children Ask For Signatures

MOSCOW - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto was greeted by the Indonesian diaspora when he arrived at the hotel lobby where he spent the night on a working visit to Russia, Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Indonesians living in Moscow have been waiting since before President Prabowo arrived at the hotel.

Among those present, Nurul Fajrina Astri came with her two sons. They brought a sign that reads "Have you seen my heart?"

Prabowo saw the writing, then approached. Nurul's two children spontaneously asked for a signature. The President agreed. "The children spontaneously asked. You are happy to give your signature. I'm very happy to get your signature from Mr. Prabowo," said Nurul, Wednesday (10/12).

Nurul admitted that he came earlier specifically to welcome him.

"We'll wait in front to welcome you. The children make their own welcome posts. Let's go, Mr. Prabowo in Russia. Adek also made a red and white flag," he said.

He said the brief meeting was memorable.

"Mr (President Prabowo) is an extraordinary figure, very authoritative. We are proud to have a President like Pak Prabowo," he said.

On that occasion, Nurul also expressed hope, "With Pak Prabowo's leadership, Indonesia can be more advanced and better."

The meeting in the hotel lobby became one of the moments in President Prabowo's series of visits to Russia, showing the closeness of Indonesian citizens abroad to their leaders.
