JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed the results of the examination for six days or on November 29, 2025, and continued on December 1-5, 2025, for 80 witnesses in the alleged bribery case for handling positions within the Ponorogo Regency Government, East Java.
"In the examination, investigators studied the mechanisms and mutation procedures for ASN (state civil servants) within the Ponorogo Regency Government," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Saturday, December 6.
Therefore, said Budi, KPK investigators examined witnesses who knew the flow of the mutation process in Ponorogo. Moreover, the case began with a hand arrest operation (OTT) regarding the alleged bribery in the management of the position of Director of the Ponorogo Hospital.
In addition, the 80 witnesses were also examined to investigate the alleged bribery case of a work project at the dr. Harjono Ponorogo Regional General Hospital, and other receipts or gratuities within the Ponorogo Regency Government.
Thus, said Budi, KPK investigators studied the witnesses from the Ponorogo Hospital for questioning regarding the procurement process at the hospital.
For the alleged gratification, he said KPK investigators examined a number of witnesses from agencies in Ponorogo, including the Ponorogo Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports Service (Disbudparpora).
"This is following up on allegations of gratification received by SUG's brother as the Regent of Ponorogo who is suspected of being related to other projects in the area," he said.
One of the witnesses examined during that period was Ely Widodo as the younger brother of Sugiri Sancoko (SUG).

The determination of the suspect was carried out after a hand arrest operation (OTT) was carried out in the Ponorogo area.
The four people are Ponorogo Regent Sugiri Sancoko (SUG), Director of RSUD Dr. Harjono Ponorogo Yunus Mahatma (YUM), Regional Secretary of Ponorogo Agus Pramono (AGP), and Sucipto (SC) as a private party or partner of the Ponorogo Hospital.
