SEMARANG - Semarang City Government's Goods/Services Procurement Work Unit (UKPBJ) officially received a national level award for Level 3 Maturity (Proactive) achievements in the UKPBJ Maturity Level Assessment organized by the Government Government of Indonesia Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP RI). The awarding event took place at the Patra Hotel Semarang & Convention, Wednesday (3/12).
The award was received by the Acting (Pj.) Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Semarang City, Budi Prakosa, who was present representing the Mayor of Semarang, Agustina Wilujeng. This Proactive Level Award is an official recognition from LKPP to UKPBJ which has reached the level of 'independent' and is able to make continuous improvements' and obtain the status of UKPBJ with Good Provision (Proactive).

The achievement of Proactive Levels shows that Semarang City UKPBJ has met 9 assessment variables which include four main domains: Institutional, Human Resources (HR), Process, and Information Systems. This proves that UKPBJ has routinely improved the quality of the procurement process, as well as effectively utilized data, technology, and risk management.
