Dhuafa Wallet Strengthens North Sumatra And West Sumatra Aceh Flood Responses, Serves 9,663 Beneficiaries

The large floods that hit West Sumatra, North Sumatra and Aceh triggered the fast movement of the Disaster Management Center (DMC) Dompet Dhuafa in providing emergency assistance. As of December 1, 2025, a total of 9,663 beneficiaries have been served through various emergency services ranging from evacuation, logistics distribution, to public kitchens.

DMC Dompet Dhuafa noted the following emergency response achievements:

Field operations involved 72 personnel, 2 tactical cars, and 7 operational cars.

Quick Response In North Sumatra: 3,320 Beneficiaries Helped

Dompet Dhuafa's Corporate Secretary, Dian Mulyadi, explained that the North Sumatra region was one of the main focuses. As of December 1, 2025, the humanitarian response has targeted 3,320 beneficiaries, with details:

"We are moving quickly to ensure that the survivors get the most urgent assistance. We deploy each personnel to remote areas so that the distribution of aid is evenly distributed and on target," said Dian at a press conference, Wednesday (3/12).

Dian was accompanied by representatives of DMC, Taqi, who reported the latest conditions in the field. "In each region, our service posts actively distribute logistics, provide medical services, and expand evacuation reach," he added.

West Sumatra: 3,834 Beneficiaries

In West Sumatra, Dompet Dhuafa has assisted 3,834 beneficiaries. The services provided include:

Aceh: 2,527 Beneficiaries And Intensive Medical Services

Meanwhile in Aceh, a total of 2,527 beneficiaries have been served, with details:

Health services are also strengthened through the Aceh Free Health Service (LKC), which goes directly to the Pidie Jaya area. The South Sumatra LKC also combed the West Sumatra region by bringing ambulance units and medical logistics. In addition, the medical team from Jakarta was also dispatched to strengthen the response in North Sumatra.

Chiki Fawzi Invites Influencers Down To Help Survivors

Artist and influencer Chiki Fawzi was also present and participated in distributing aid directly to flood survivors. He invited public figures and content creators to jointly strengthen humanitarian issues.

"I invite fellow creators and public figures to participate in humanity. Let's help together. The more people who care, the sooner people will rise," said Chiki.

DMC Dompet Dhuafa has also prepared a Wi-Fi post for affected residents to facilitate communication and access to information. In addition, washing outlets were established to help volunteers and survivors maintain clothing cleanliness.
