JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the investigation into the alleged corruption of business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry continued. The summons of Ira Puspadewi and two other former directors was open as long as investigators needed.

As for this case, there is still one suspect who has not been detained. He is Adjie as the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara who was acquired by the state-owned company.

"We'll see later, yes, what kind of investigation needs," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters quoted on Saturday, November 29.

Meanwhile, Ira Puspadewi as the former President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) who had been released from the KPK Detention Center (Rutan) did not want to talk much about the opportunity to summon him by KPK investigators.

Ira and two former directors of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) finally breathed free air on Friday afternoon, November 28. The three of them were released after President Prabowo Subianto provided rehabilitation after they were convicted by the Jakarta Corruption Court on Thursday, November 20.

"We'll talk about something else later. I think this moment (free from the KPK Detention Center, ed) is a moment where we want to express our appreciation and gratitude first," he told reporters at the KPK Detention Center, South Jakarta, Friday afternoon.

Acting (Plt) Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu said the legal process against Adjie would continue. He said that rehabilitation was only given by President Prabowo to three former directors.

"The continuity of the suspect is AJ, so it's the rehabilitation, right, three people. This AJ is still in the process of being investigated at this time, so the case is still going on, yes," Asep told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 26.

"Because the rehabilitation is three. That's from ASDP, Mrs. Ira and friends," continued Asep, who also serves as Director of KPK Investigations.

As previously reported, President Prabowo Subianto signed the granting of rehabilitation for three parties involved in the legal case of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry. They are Ira Puspadewi as former Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry; former Director of Planning and Development of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Harry Muhammad Adhi Caksono; and former Commercial and Service Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Yusuf Hadi.

The decision was conveyed by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad in a press statement with Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya at the Presidential office, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 25.

"From the results of communication with the government, thank God there are today, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto has signed a letter of rehabilitation for the three names," he said.

Ira Puspadewi et al are known to have been found guilty in the corruption case of the acquisition and business cooperation (KSU) of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry. He was later sentenced to 4.5 years and a fine of IDR 500 million by the Jakarta Corruption Court.

Meanwhile, the former Director of Planning and Development of PT ASDP, Harry Muhammad Adhi Caksono, and former Director of Commercial and Services of PT ASDP, Muhammad Yusuf Hadi was sentenced to 4 years and a fine of Rp250 million. They were found guilty and committed corruption together as the second alternative indictment Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999.
