JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasized the implementation of a new paradigm of the National Police in securing actions, namely prioritizing public services and a humanist approach throughout the region.

The National Police Chief conveyed this at the 2025 Kasatwil Apel which was held for three days at the Cikeas Brimob Satlat, Bogor Regency, West Java, by presenting all regional police chiefs and police chiefs from various regions.

He emphasized that the National Police is now not only maintaining order, but also facilitating residents in expressing opinions in public. "We changed it from what initially looked after to serve," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 24.

According to him, the changes ranged from the stage of notification of the action to implementation in the field. The National Police ensures an effective dialogue space so that the aspirations of the community are conveyed without distortion.

The National Police Chief explained that the National Police also helped link the action participants with the intended agencies, such as the regional government or the DPR. We must maintain the quality of expressing opinions," he said.

The National Police is studying various models of action security from other countries, including the Hong Kong Police, as a reference to the renewal of the doctrine.

According to the National Police Chief, the update is important so that the authorities can distinguish democratic actions and the potential for mass chaos which has an impact on security stability and public facilities.

The Kasatwil apple is also an evaluation room for the doctrines of Tri Brata and Catur Prasetya to be in line with the needs of more humane public services.

He emphasized that the National Police must be adaptive to the dynamics of the community.

"Our hope is that the National Police will really be present as desired by the community," he said.
