Penjaringan Metro Police Successfully Found Two Missing Children With Their Parents

JAKARTA - Members of the Penjaringan Metro Police managed to bring together two children who were separated from their parents in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta, Sunday, November 23, 2025.

The incident began at around 08.00 WIB, when a scavenger's mother saw two small children trying to cross the road in front of the Waste Processing Site (TPS), to be precise next to the Penjaringan Metro Police without a companion.

Seeing the dangerous conditions, the witness then helped the two children and asked their identities and goals.

Because both of them were unable to explain clearly, the witness decided to take them to the SPKT Polsek Metro Penjaringan.

Arriving at the Sector Police, picket personnel led by KSPKT C, AKP Rubby and Pawas officer Ipda Shele Danang Wijaya and Brigadier Ardia provided assistance to the two children.

The officers first calmed them down and entertained them, provided food and drinks, before finally the children remembered their respective names, namely Hanafi, the son of Udin and Ramadhan, the son of Ita.

Then the two children claimed to be named Hanafi, who is the son of Udin (his parents) and Ramadhan who is the son of Ita (his parents).

After getting the identity, the Head of the Penjaringan Metro Police, AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya, immediately ordered his members to distribute information and photos of the two children to the Bhabinkamtibmas group, RW/RT, Pokdarkamtibmas, as well as all communication networks owned by Polsek personnel.

This rapid effort resulted in fruition. At 10:00 WIB, the parents of the child then came to the Penjaringan Metro Police after receiving information regarding the whereabouts of their son.

They admit that the children, who are about three years old, have been searched since the previous afternoon and were not found near their regular play location near Cipluk Market, Penjaringan.

Parents immediately recognized their respective children, and both children showed similar reactions.
