CIREBON - Cirebon City Police (Polresta), West Java, is intensifying educational activities to prevent bullying and juvenile delinquency through the Police Goes to School program which has been routinely implemented since early November 2025 in a number of schools.
Head of Cirebon Police, Kombes Pol. Sumarni in Cirebon, Saturday, said that all these activities involved the main officials of the Cirebon Police as an effort to strengthen the development of student character from an early age.
"For example, on Thursday (20/11), the Police Goes to School program was held simultaneously by 27 police officers from the Cirebon Police in various schools as a form of coaching for the younger generation," he said.
Sumarni explained that the activity was carried out to provide understanding to students to avoid actions that could potentially disrupt public security and order.

According to him, seriousness in learning is an important key for students to prepare for the future, including growing interest in entrepreneurship as a provision of independence.
The police chief also emphasized the importance of building moral attitudes, manners, and respect for parents and teachers so that they grow into a strong and characteric person.
"We come to school to prepare young people as the golden generation of Indonesia. Students should be grateful because they have the opportunity to learn properly and live in a safe country," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of PPA of the Cirebon Police Satreskrim, Ipda Sri Muyanti, said that in this activity his party provided education about the types of physical, psychological, and sexual violence, as well as steps that must be taken when he becomes a victim.
He emphasized that the punishment for perpetrators of sexual violence in the latest regulations reached 5 to 15 years in prison, including catcalling which is now catcalling in the category of sexual violence.
