Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Nanik S.Deyang said President Prabowo's directive was to maintain food price stability ahead of Christmas and the new year (Nataru) when demand for eggs in the community usually increased.
"Earlier, the President ordered, 'wah, yes later, if for example, you want Nataru, then Lebaran. Later, maybe we will reduce the eggs for the children, but replace beef, replaced with cyclone eggs'," said Nanik imitating President Prabowo's statement after a meeting at the Presidential Palace. Nanik said that food price fluctuations have begun to be felt in the field, especially in chicken, eggs, and fruit commodities.
