KPK Hands Over Rp833 Billion Looted Money From Fictitious Investment Case To PT Taspen

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) handed over confiscated assets worth Rp. 833 billion to PT Taspen (Persero) today.

This money was confiscated from the former President Director of PT Insight Investments Management (IIM), Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto in connection with a fictitious investment corruption case.

This submission is a follow-up to the decision of the Central Jakarta District Court Corruption Court which has permanent legal force. The decision stipulates evidence in the form of the National Insight Fund Participation Unit for the Balanced Fund 2 (I-Next G2) which has been sold.

"After a series of asset recovery processes by the KPK from the Taspen case, today the KPK will hand over to PT Taspen Persero for the resale of assets that have been confiscated," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu at a press conference at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, November 20.

This money was then deposited into the account of Giro THT Taspen at BRI Veterans Jakarta Branch.

In addition, it was also handed over to Taspen in the form of six units of securities that had been moved on November 17, 2025 to the PT Taspen (Persero) securities account.

"KPK views that corruption in pension funds is one of the most sad crimes because the victims are a group of people who have served the state (ASN) for decades who with pension money depend on the survival of life in their old age with their families," he said.

Taspen funds are not just figures in financial reports. But these funds are savings for the old days of millions of ASN, which are set aside for decades. More than 4.8 million ASN depend on Taspen's management. This means that every rupiah that is corrupted is the same as taking the life of ASN's old age throughout Indonesia with their families," continued Asep, who also serves as Director of KPK Investigation.

In the future, the KPK said the value of asset recovery would increase. Because, Asep explained, the process is waiting for Antonius NS Kosasih's appeal decision which is still running at the DKI Jakarta High Court.

The KPK also hopes that the Antonius NS Kosasih case, which is currently still in the appeal process.

The DKI Jakarta High Court will have additional asset recovery values so that state losses can really be recovered from this Taspen case.
