SOLO - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the Emirates (Indonesian) Cardiology Hospital (RS) in Solo, Central Java, today. In his remarks, Prabowo called the hospital a symbol of close friendship between Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Wearing a safari and black cap cream shirt, Prabowo said that the construction of the KEI Hospital could not be separated from the great attention of the UAE President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

"This hospital is a symbol of friendship between the two nations, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates," he said through a live broadcast watched in Jakarta quoted from Antara, Wednesday, November 19.

Prabowo explained that the KEI Hospital is one of the most advanced cardiac hospitals with advanced equipment in Indonesia, even being the only one in Central Java. Based on the report he received, only four hospitals in Indonesia have the same technology as the KEI Hospital.

He hopes that the facility will become a benchmark for hospital standards in Indonesia, be able to reduce the fatality of heart disease, accelerate access to treatment, as well as become a center for innovation, education, and research.

Prabowo also assessed that the presence of the KEI Hospital gave new hope for heart patients so that they did not need to seek treatment abroad.

Prabowo also conveyed his greetings to the President of the UAE. "Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed is a good friend of mine and a very good brother to Indonesia. We are very grateful for his commitment," said Prabowo.

Acara kemudian ditutup dengan peresmian RS KEI melalui penekanan tombol oleh Presiden.

“Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, dengan ini kita resmikan Rumah Sakit Kardiologi Emirates-Indonesia,” ujarnya.

The event was then closed with the inauguration of the KEI Hospital through a press button by the President.

"Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, we hereby inaugurate the Emirates-Indonesia Cardiology Hospital," he said.
