JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto together with the Governor of the Ace National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas) Hasan Syadzily encouraged regional heads to show and maintain integrity in building the territory they lead.
This was said after the closing of the second batch of regional leadership (KPPD) course in 2025 at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 18.
Bima Arya emphasized that currently regional heads face tough challenges and difficult tasks. For this reason, it must be in line with the national program of economic growth, food sovereignty, education, and health.
"It all requires effective leadership. The training program which is a collaboration between Lemhanas, PYC, and the Ministry of Home Affairs, the target is to go there. Regional heads hone their leadership skills, gain knowledge, learn best practices, so then they have provisions to face various challenges," he said.

Furthermore, the Governor of Lemhanas Ace Hasan Syadzily added that during the five days of the education process at Lemhanas RI and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, the 25 regional heads learned about how public services were carried out in Singapore, especially basic services, such as education, health, waste management, public transportation.
In addition, his party also presented speakers, supporters of the second former Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong, Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Singaporean Defense Minister Chan Sung Sing.
"The Ministry of Home Affairs' Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) is preparing an action program plan for each regional head after participating in the education process which will later become the focus of the services that will be provided in each region," he explained.
