KPK Investigate Seal Destruction At The Riau Governor's Office House, Three Pramusaji Examined

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of destroying the seal installed by investigators at the Riau Governor's official residence after the arrest operation (OTT) in early November 2025. In this series of investigations, the KPK has summoned and examined three waitresses who work at the governor's office.

The KPK spokesman, Budi Prasetyo, confirmed the examination.

"It was investigated regarding the alleged destruction of the KPK seal at the governor's official residence," Budi told reporters in Jakarta, Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Budi said that the three waitresses who were questioned on November 17, 2025, had the initials ALP, MSA, and ML.

Chronology Of Riau Corruption Cases

The investigation into the destruction of the seal is a follow-up to the alleged corruption case that ensnared the previous Riau Governor.

November 3, 2025: The KPK confirmed the arrest of the Governor of Riau, Abdul Wahid (AW), and eight other people in the arrest operation (OTT).

November 4, 2025: The Expert Staff of the Governor of Riau, Dani M. Nursalam (DAN), surrendered to the KPK. On the same day, the KPK confirmed that it had named a suspect after the OTT, but details had not been announced.

November 5, 2025: The KPK officially announced the determination of three main suspects in the alleged corruption case related to extortion within the Riau Provincial Government for the 2025 Fiscal Year. The three suspects are Riau Governor Abdul Wahid (AW), Riau PUPRPKPP Head M. Arief Setiawan (MAS), and Riau Governor Dani M. Nursalam (DAN) Expert.

KPK investigators put up a seal at locations that are considered important as evidence in the investigation process, including at the official residence of the Governor of Riau. Seal destruction is a criminal act that can be charged according to the law.
