JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed a considerable influence on the condition of studying at SMAN 72 Jakarta after the bomb explosion case some time ago.

According to Pramono, this situation made some students feel uncomfortable and chose to apply for a school transfer. This was reported by the Principal of SMAN 72 to Pramono.

"For SMA 72, yesterday in North Jakarta, I happened to meet the principal. It turned out that the impact was also beyond my expectations, many students then asked to change schools. Well, this is also the thought," said Pramono, Sunday, November 16.

Since the incident occurred, the study process at SMAN 72 has temporarily been transferred to online learning and students studying from home. For next week's learning, Pramono asked the school to communicate directly with students and teachers to determine a follow-up learning pattern.

"I convey to the Principal, the deadline for, what, online learning, is until Monday. Tomorrow Monday they will invite students and teachers, teachers and students, to be given a choice, whether they will go to school directly or go online," he said.

Furthermore, Pramono asked for the decision to be formulated carefully so as not to cause new anxiety for students and parents. Pramono emphasized the need for a sensitive approach to the psychological condition of the affected students.

"I have asked the school and including the Head of the Service, this is formulated properly. Because I don't want the impact to be long, right," he said.

Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government decided that teaching and learning activities at SMAN 72 Jakarta would be carried out online starting Monday, November 10. This decision was taken after the location of the school was still in the process of sterilizing after the explosion incident that occurred some time ago.

The head of the DKI Jakarta Education Office, Nahdiana, explained that online learning activities will be focused on the students' mental recovery process before returning to their activities in schools. He emphasized the importance of providing safe space and recreative activities for students.

Recently, Pramono invited SMAN 72 Jakarta to again hold teaching and learning activities at schools. After the explosion, the public school in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta implemented online learning.

"Regarding the learning process at SMAN Negeri 72, we have given freedom to the Head of the Education Office. We give complete freedom to schools," said Pramono at the AA Maramis Building of the Ministry of Finance, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, November 11.

Pramono revealed that the school's freedom to study offline again was because he received reports that some students had wanted to return to school and study face-to-face.

"For that, because all the data has been taken by the Police, it is related to events and now the teaching and learning process is done directly, actually it can be done," said Pramono.
