Commission III Of The Indonesian House Of Representatives Forms A Panja For Police Reform To The Court Next Week

JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Habiburokhman, said that his party will form a working committee for the reform of the National Police, the Attorney General's Office, and the Court next week. The three institutions are said to have been highlighted by their performance a lot.

"Commission III of the DPR RI will form a working committee or committee for Polri reform, the Prosecutor's Office, and the Court."

"So far, we have received a lot of input from the public to establish a reform panja related to the three law enforcement institutions," Habiburokhman said in his statement quoted on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

He has not detailed what the task of the panja is. Habiburokhman only said that this formation was a solution to fixing the three institutions.

The formation of the panja will begin by summoning the National Police Chief to the Attorney General. They will be asked to attend on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

"We want what kind of solution to be able to handle this phenomenon so that the judiciary can really output it, namely quality justice and law enforcement."

"The plan is that next week, on Tuesday we will summon the leaders of the three institutions. Then the committee will be ratified," said the legislator of the DPR RI from the Gerindra Party faction.
