South Sulawesi Provincial Government Immediately Signs Decree On The Implementation Of 2 Lutra Teachers Who Had Been Imprisoned

The South Sulawesi Provincial Government immediately put pressure on the decree (SK) to reactivate employment status as a state civil servant (ASN) to two teachers from North Luwu Regency, Abdul Muis and Rasnal.

South Sulawesi Provincial Secretary Jufri Rahman in Makassar, Saturday, said that he had held a coordination meeting to discuss the follow-up to the President's decision regarding the provision of rehabilitation to Abdul Muis and Rasnal with the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) and other relevant agencies.

He attended a coordination meeting with the Head of the South Sulawesi BKD Erwin Sodding, Head of the South Sulawesi BKAD Reza Faisal Saleh, Head of the South Sulawesi Education Office Iqbal Nadjamuddin, while from the South Sulawesi Inspectorate virtually from the local regional secretary meeting room.

"Since the President gave rehabilitation to Mr. Abdul Muis and Mr. Rasnal, through the direction of the Governor, we immediately followed up and moved quickly. To coordinate and complete the completeness for the decrees of the two teachers," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 15.

He has coordinated directly with PANRB Minister Rini Widyantini and the Head of BKN RI Zudan Arif Fakhrulloh regarding this matter.

"Then we together with the BKD, the Legal Bureau, and others immediately made the reactivation according to our previous position," he said.

Not only the administrative documents for reacting again as ASN, the South Sulawesi Provincial Government has also calculated the rights that belong to the two teachers so that all their rights will be returned, including salaries and suspended allowances.

"So after the decree is signed by the Governor, the rights will be paid immediately, including salaries, allowances, THR, 13 salaries. The BKAD has calculated and is ready to pay if the decree has been signed," he said.

Inspector General of the Ministry of Home Affairs Mahendra Jaya in the coordination meeting appreciated the quick steps taken by the South Sulawesi Provincial Government and Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman to follow up on the President's decision.

"Thank you, the fast movement is extraordinary to prepare the reactivation decree in question, including rights as long as they are dismissed," he said.

The two teachers from SMA Negeri 1 Luwu Utara, were dishonorably dismissed after serving a criminal sentence of corruption Article 11 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 64 (1) of the Criminal Code.

The employment status of the two teachers was then restored after receiving the rehabilitation of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday (13/11).
