Smartboard Corruption Case, North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office In Jakarta

The North Sumatra Special Prosecutor's Office and the Langkat Kejari Investigative Team conducted searches at three locations in Jakarta, Wednesday (12/11/2025). BETWEEN THE NORTH Sumatra Attorney General's Office OF Law and Human Rights.

The North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office has conducted three company offices in Jakarta, related to allegations of corruption in the procurement of interactive whiteboards or "smartboards" for State Junior High Schools throughout Tebing Tinggi City and Langkat Regency, North Sumatra.

"Today, the investigating team of the North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office and the Langkat Kejari together conducted a joint search related to the handling of the case in the investigation of the procurement of interactive whiteboards in Langkat Regency and Tebing Tinggi City," said Head of Investigation (Kasidik) Pidsus North Sumatra Attorney General's Office Arif Kadarman as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 12.

Arif said the search was carried out in three locations, namely PT Bismacindo Perkasa in West Jakarta, PT Gunung Eka Putra in Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta, and PT Galva Teknologi Tbk in Gambir District, Central Jakarta. The three of them are the providers of goods and services in the project.

"This activity is a continuation of the previous search in the Tebing Tinggi City area," he said.

The search today was based on permission from the Central Jakarta and West Jakarta District Courts as well as a search warrant from the Head of the North Sumatra Attorney General's Office.

"Hopefully this rarity can speed up the investigation process so that it is immediately known that the parties who play the most role in the alleged corruption crime," he said.

The Daily Executor of the Head of Legal Information for the North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office, Indra Ahmadi Hasibuan, added that the search in Jakarta was part of the ongoing general investigation process.

"The investigative team is still collecting data and other supporting evidence. We hope that in the near future there will be a bright spot, and we will convey the progress to media colleagues," he said.

The search was carried out to complete the evidence needed in investigating the case so that the handling of the case can be immediately resolved in a professional and transparent manner.
