Muara Sabak Narcotics Prison Instills Discipline And Togetherness Values Through Mutual Cooperation

TANJUNG JABUNG EAST REGENCY - Class IIB Narcotics Prison Muara Sabak Jambi formed a disciplined character for Correctional Inmates (WBP) through periodic mutual cooperation in the coaching environment to keep the area clean and comfortable to support daily social life.

"We fully support activities like this because apart from maintaining environmental cleanliness, it is also a tangible form of personality coaching for the inmates," said Head of Narcotics Class IIB Muara Sabak, Askari Utomo at the location, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, November 8.

He hopes that the mutual cooperation value carried out together between officers and inmates can continue to be transmitted when the inmates return to the community.

Such activities are also an effort to instill positive values through productive and beneficial coaching activities for the lives of inmates.

Askari added that a clean environment makes the occupants comfortable, as well as able to reduce mosquitoes caused by an environment that is not properly maintained.

"The environment must be clean, comfortable, mutual cooperation activities are an important part in shaping positive characters and the spirit of togetherness in the prison environment," explained.

Head of the Prison Security Unit (Ka. KPLP), Riko Hamdan added, the mutual cooperation includes cleaning ditch areas, pruning weeds, and rearranging the neighborhood around the road between blocks (crossings) so that they remain beautiful and comfortable.

In addition to maintaining cleanliness, these activities are also a means of fostering discipline and togetherness for correctional inmates.

"Through this mutual cooperation activity, we want to instill the values of responsibility, cooperation, and a sense of belonging to the environment. A clean environment reflects an orderly and healthy lifestyle," said Riko Hamdan.
