Mataram Strikes 2,689 KK Candidates For Cash Assistance Recipients Rp900 Thousand, Generally Proven Salary Above UMR

JAKARTA - The Mataram City Social Service (Dinsos) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, crossed out 2,698 family heads (KK) for prospective recipients of temporary direct cash assistance (BLTS) because the value was not feasible.

Acting Head of the Mataram City Social Service Lalu Samsul Adnan said the deletion was the result of verification of 21,962 candidates for BLTS recipient data from the Ministry of Social Affairs until October 31, 2025.

"Verification of prospective BLTS recipients is currently still around 70-80 percent. So it is possible that the number of families to be crossed out could increase," he said in Mataram, Thursday, was confiscated by Antara.

Program BLTS merupakan program dari pemerintah yang akan memberikan bantuan langsung sebesar Rp300 ribu per KK per bulan selama tiga bulan yakni Oktober, November, dan Desember sehingga satu KK akan menerima BLTS Rp900 ribu.

According to him, the deletion of thousands of KK candidates for BLTS recipients include prospective recipients who already have a permanent job with income above the regional minimum wage (UMR).

As some have become State Civil Apparatus (ASN), both Civil Servants (PNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK), or those who work for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD).

"They already have a permanent job and get a salary above the usual UMR," he said.

He said the main reference for determining BLTS recipients was people who were included in the range of Desil 1 to Desil 4 National Sole Social Economic Data (DTKS).

The 1 to 4 deposit summarizes community groups who are also recipients of regular assistance programs, such as the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT).

Regarding the potential for double recipients, namely people who have received PKH or BPNT also receive BLTS, the Ministry of Social Affairs has given directions to let them accept it.

"The Ministry of Social Affairs stated that it was left alone, because it was included in the thickening of the term," he said.

Samsul said, after verifying and deleting the data on prospective BLTS recipients who were not feasible, it is estimated that the final number of BLTS recipients in Mataram City will decrease.

"We are targeting the final results of verification and validation of this data to be completed this week," he said.
