ProBOLINGGO - The Probolinggo City Resort Police (Polres) arrested an ASN member of Pasuruan City with the initials BE (39), a resident of Probolinggo City who committed immoral acts against a minor who is also his own nephew in the local city.

"The suspect BE was secured by the ranks of the Probolinggo City Police Satreskrim in connection with cases of immoral acts and sexual intercourse with minors," said Probolinggo City Police Chief AKBP Rico Yumasri, quoted by Antara, Thursday, November 6.

According to him, the perpetrator's actions were revealed after the victim's mother suspected a change in the behavior of victim M (16), so she asked the victim to be honest and the victim claimed to have been deceived by her uncle, who is a Pasuruan City ASN status.

"After it was confirmed that the victim was molested three times, then the family reported the incident to the Probolinggo City Police Headquarters on September 19, 2025," he said.

From the report, he continued, the Probolinggo City Police conducted an investigation in coordination with the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Probolinggo City Social Service and arrested the ASN perpetrator who committed the immoral act at the end of October 2025.

From the results of the investigation by the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA), the police found an element of persuasion used by the perpetrators to deceive the victim who is still his nephew.

"In carrying out the action, the perpetrator did persuasion, or lure the victim. After the victim was consumed by his persuasion, the perpetrator then committed immoral acts against the underage victim," he said.

In addition to securing the perpetrators, the ranks of the Probolinggo City Police Satreskrim also secured evidence such as the victim's clothes and two cell phones.

"For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 81 paragraph (2) subsidiary to Article 82 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection with a threat of 15 years in prison," he said.
